As an ISA Certified Arborist® (Bryan K. Weaver, PD 1428-A) we cannot participate in anything considered an unacceptable pruning practice by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the American National Standards Institute A300; this includes topping cuts or large diameter trunk wounds.
AZ133 Safety Requirements for Arboricultural Operations must be adhered to for the entire duration we are on the work site. This includes, but not limited to, all personnel on the jobsite to wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) – head protection (helmet) that conforms to ANSI 789.1, hearing protection, eye protection in compliance with ANSI Z87.1, and cut-resistant leg protection while operating a chain saw during ground operations.
